Developed by Toys for Bob and released by Activision in 2020, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is the eighth mainline game in the Crash Bandicoot series, and the fourth chronologically. Available for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles, the game follows Uka Uka's attempt to free himself and Doctors Neo Cortex and N. Tropy from the prison in the past in which they ended up after their defeat in Crash Bandicoot: Warped. The trio of villains returns to launch a major attack on the multiverse, and to face this new challenge, players will have the help of new powers by obtaining four Quantum Masks, which are protectors of time and space.

Despite Crash Bandicoot 4 reaching a significant milestone in 2024 and having passed five million units sold since its release, the future isn't bright for Crash and his friends.
