How Long To Complete Creatures Of Ava's Main Quest

If you stick to completing Creatures of Ava's main questline — which will have you learn all Nafitar staff's spells, get all the Flutes, and visit every ecosystem — you will have to invest approximately 10 hours of playtime. This will vary greatly depending on how proficient you are at curing infected creatures that can give you a hard time.

You can counter these infected creature roadblocks by spending skill points on Spell upgrades and mobility.

That said, Rescue Quests — which will have you tame, guide, and teleport a set number of creatures from the ecosystems — will be the most time-consuming activity other than the main quests, since they are mandatory. If you are aiming to optimize your playthrough, time-wise, consider rescuing creatures while you complete quests as soon as you come across a Rescue Robot. Otherwise, be ready to do some heavy backtracking.

How Long To Complete All Main & Side Content In Creatures Of Ava

If you take your time and complete all additional side quests in Creatures of Ava, collect every permanent upgrade in the field, and complete each Research Task for all creatures, it will take you an additional 8 to 10 hours, totaling approximately 20 hours to complete the game in its entirety. Combat difficulty spikes when meeting new creatures that require new spells, and puzzles will also get a bit more challenging, but completing the side quests — appearing as question marks on the map — will take the longest.

However, completing every single entry in your Avapedia will probably be the longest activity you will endure during your playthrough (other than the quests themselves). This is due to the Research Tasks mentioned above. With more than 20 creatures in the game and six different task types per creature (three of which are doubled) that include taking pictures, curing, and rescuing a specific number of creatures, you are looking at approximately 180 unique tasks.
