All Secrets & Cassette Tapes in Crime Scene Cleaner Short Circuit

There are two secrets and two cassette tapes that you can find in the Short Circuit mission in Crime Scene Cleaner. Here’s how to find them:

Cassette Tape #1

The first cassette tape is pretty easy to find during this mission. When you arrive at the spot, go up the stairs and turn left. Then, walk through the second door on your right, and you’ll see a shelf on the left wall. Go towards it and pick up the Cassette Tape.

Cassette Tape #2

Remember how we said things were creepy in this place? After picking up the first Cassette, go around the house and look into each room. Also, go back downstairs and interact with the two doors, even though they are still locked at this point in the game.

After checking every room, go back to the shelf, and you’ll see the second Cassette Tape sitting in the same spot where you found the first one.

The music coming from the room changes when you check all the doors. This is what tells you that the second Cassette Tape has spawned.

Secret #1

For the first secret, you’ll need to activate a hidden switch in the house. From the room with the Cassette Tapes, walk out. Look left, and you’ll notice a wall sconce that’s crooked. Interact with it, and it’ll open a hidden room near the boxes on the other end of the hallway. Walk up to the Painting to discover the first secret for Short Circuit.

Secret #2

The last secret of the game is in the Living Room, which you need to unlock with the Living Room Key. You’ll find the key in the room at the end of the hallway with the crooked wall sconce. Simply walk in and pick up the key placed on the table.

Now go downstairs and unlock the Living Room. On your right, you’ll see an open fridge. Walk around it to find a tiny door. Go inside the room and find the second secret.

The room is a reference to the room under the closet in Harry Potter books. You’ll even find a book called Harry the Potter And the Goblet of Clay inside the small room as a fun little nudge to the beloved franchise.

Once you’ve picked up the secrets and Cassette Tapes, all that’s left to do is clean up the place. Remember to double-check every room for paw prints and even check the ceilings if you’re out to get the perfect score in Crime Scene Cleaner.
