When Hogwarts Legacy launched, it safely succeeded everyone's expectations by delivering the best version of Hogwarts ever put into video games, and maybe even superseding the movies as well, making Hogwarts and its various magical beasts feel more real than it ever had before.
Though the PS5 version of the game is broadly similar to other versions, particularly the PC version, the haptic controls when it comes to spell-slinging is second to none, and makes the combat feel that extra bit more impactful. It's worth playing on PS5 for those controller inclusions alone.

Ever since the release of Resident Evil 7, the Resident Evil franchise has been on an upwards trajectory in popularity and in critical acclaim, bravely experimenting into many different kinds of horror, reinventing itself with each new entry, with Resident Evil Village being one of the very best entries in the entire series.
That's perhaps never been more true than with Resident Evil Village, the eighth canonical entry into the series that, on PS5, looks stunning due to the incredible RE Engine, but also due to the trigger resistance that makes Ethan's guns feel a bit more punchy and weighty, adding a little extra bit of immersion that makes it worth playing on the PS5 for the best possible experience.

Housemarque have always been the black sheep of the Sony dev studios, releasing critically acclaimed arcade-inspired games that never quite cut through the mainstream. Returnal, their latest effort, is one of the best they've ever made, and though it's since come to PC, it still plays best on Playstation.
A big reason for that is the game was clearly designed for the PS5 first with deep mechanical integration of the haptic feedback controls, the speaker, and the resistive triggers, making it the most immersive version of the game available today. If you want the game's list of fearsome bosses to look and feel their very best, play on PS5.

Though Helldivers 2 is available on PC, it was clearly designed for PS5 first with thorough integration fo feedback controls. However, PC players are also unsure about the requirement of linking a Sony account to their PC accounts, so if they already have a Sony account on PS5, then that's definitely the place to play it.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart was clearly designed as a showcase for the graphical power of the PS5, but also the quick loading speeds of the SSD where jumping through portals becomes a total breeze with the new hardware. While some PC players may have the specs required, the game runs smoothest and most consistently on PS5, the console it was designed for.

1 Gran Turismo 7
Racing Perfection
Gran Turismo 7
- Released
- March 24, 2022
- Developer(s)
- Polyphony Digital
- Genre(s)
- Racing
The Gran Turismo franchise has always prided itself on realism above all else. Its massive roster of cars handle realistically, its worlds look incredible, and there is a massive attention to specific technical detail of each machine.
While racing gamers can play the game on PS4, it's graphical power and fidelity was clearly designed for the PS5 console where it shows itself off as the technical masterclass that it is. While it works fine on PS4, it's really selling itself short on the old hardware, and should really be played on the PS5.
