Crystal of Atlan is a newly released magicpunk-themed MMO Action RPG, set in a universe where magic and technology exist, and featuring numerous classes for Adventurers to enjoy. Each class has its own sub-classes, with every single one of them having a unique appearance.
Aside from enjoying the story and learning the combat system, players may want to enrich their experience by controlling a character that matches their preferences. Fortunately, Crystal of Atlan has a system that allows gamers to customize their character's appearance, allowing minor changes at a low cost.
Crystal Of Atlan: How To Get Pre-Registration Rewards
With the release of Crystal of Atlan, players can now receive all the pre-registration rewards.
How to Change Appearance in Crystal of Atlan
Once Adventurers start playing Crystal of Atlan, they need to choose from five initial classes: Swordsman, Musketeer, Magister, Puppeteer, and Fighter. Each class has its own character's appearance and gender-locked, but you won't be able to enjoy them for long, as you then need to develop them into their respective advanced classes at Level 15, which have different designs and appearances.
After you complete the class advancement quest, Ellie will introduce you to a merchant called Cici in Lumiville (You can, however, talk to Cici even before the introduction once you step into Lumiville). After interacting with Cici, there are a few options for you to choose from:
- Dye Outfit
- Change Appearance
- Marionette Customization (If you choose the Puppeteer class)
- Chat
The dye outfit system is only available for outfits you already own and are dyeable. Meanwhile, for the change appearance system, there are a number of presets that you can choose from, such as facial features, hairstyle, and clothing color. A slider to change your in-game character's skin color is also available for you to browse.
The Marionette customization option is only available to players who choose Puppeteer classes. It allows you to recolor certain parts of the puppet's body. All the changes come with a price, but it is minimal, and you won't have trouble financially even if you change your character's appearance every day (although it is not recommended, as it's better to use those currencies to enhance your unit's power).
How to Get and Use Outfits in Crystal of Atlan
The outfit section in the Gear menu will be unlocked for every player once they reach Level 10. Outfits are pieces of clothing that don't take up your gear slots, but they do provide some bonus stats, in addition to changing your character's clothing. You can obtain an outfit via events, the outfit summoning system, and the Cash Shop. All the outfits in the summon banner and shop use a limited currency (called Opal and Prismadium) that can be obtained by spending real money to buy them in the shop.
If you obtain an outfit with a stat that you like but are not a fan of its appearance, you can use the Transmog Oufit system to change an outfit piece's appearance so it will look like another piece that you already own. This allows you to change said outfit's appearance without sacrificing the stats on the outfit. To do so, you need to have a specific item called Refraction Crystal that can be obtained from the shop or through the outfit summoning system.
