The game features a mechanic known as Battery, which determines how long someone can play the story missions of the game before they run out of battery and wait for it to recharge.

Playing every single stage of a chapter in the campaign mode requires the player to spend a certain amount of batteries. Spending real-life cash to buy batteries is an option, but it's certainly the last thing someone should consider, as there are free ways to earn batteries with a little bit of luck!

Complete Daily Challenges Of The Adventurer's Manual

Every day, a new set of challenges will be available to complete. These missions are easy to tackle, and you can get them done within a full battery life. Each daily mission offers some progress within the reward tracker. Overall, there are four daily rewards to collect, and one of them grants batteries.

Complete Chapter Stages

Each chapter introduces an NPC character in the story arc who comes with a small reward tracker. The first reward for each of these NPCs is a battery to help you gain some more energy to finish the chapter. Making progress on this reward tracker is as easy as completing the stages available in the chapter. However, playing each stage already requires battery. So, if you've already hit rock bottom, then this method is not for you.

Adore Summons

One last method to get batteries for free is to purchase them from the shop with in-game-earned currency. Open the shop menu and get to the Summons page. Now, switch to the Adore Exchange and scroll all the way down. Here, there is an option to battery by paying Essence of Adore. However, the deal will only become available after your character reaches level 55.

Speaking of Essence of Adore, players can earn it through Adore Summons. As you play the game, you will earn Arcanite of Adore in different ways. These are tickets that are burned in Adore Summons to drop various rewards with a chance to spawn a high-level pet. The rewards dropping from Adore Summons have tiers, and every Tier-A reward will also grant 2 Essence of Adore. So, if you are lucky, you might receive multiple Essences of Adore.

One battery pack will cost 5 Essence of Adore, and that means you will need at least three A-tier drops from Adore Summons. As you may have guessed, this is also not an efficient method for obtaining batteries, but at least you can acquire batteries, perhaps once or twice, through this method for each of your characters.

That being said, one of the redeemable codes given away by the developers grants 10 Arcanites of Adore, and that seems more than enough to pull a few A-tier drops out of Adore Summons.
