Cases have been pretty popular since they were introduced in CS: GO. Here are four simple ways to get cases in Counter-Strike 2:

Weekly Rewards
Buy from Steam Market
Twitch Stream Drops
Third-Party Marketplace.

Weekly Rewards

You can get CS2 cases as part of weekly rewards. When you level up, CS2 gives you a Weekly Care Package, in which you can choose two out of four rewards, and cases are one of them. If you get another XP point in the same week, you can get the other two items as well. However, these cases usually have low-level skins.

No matter how you get a case, you will need a key to open it. There’s a different key for every case and keys can be purchased from the in-game store.

Buy from Steam Market

Another way to acquire cases in CS2 is to purchase them from the Steam market. Sellers offer all types of cases at Steam Community Market. You can find skins like Prisma, Snakebite, Shattered Web, Operation Broken Fang, and many others.

To buy from Steam, you need to launch the application, head to the market section in the ‘Community’ section, enter Counter-Strike 2 in the search bar, and look for cases. And yes, with each case you need to buy its key as well.

Twitch Stream Drops

This is an off-game method where you can watch esports tournaments on Twitch to receive free cases. Players who don’t want to spend real money can use this method to get cases without having to pay real money. However, you need to spend a lot of time watching entire tournaments, and you'll still need to buy a key to open those cases.

Many third-party platforms sell all kinds of CS2 cases. This method can be cheaper, but keep in mind that it can be risky because some third-party platforms may scam you. So be careful with your purchases.
