The Unholy Alliance DLC added local co-op mode to Cult of the Lamb. The free DLC pack was released on August 12, 2024, and gamers were able to obtain it simply by updating their game. When players start local co-op in Cult of the Lamb, one will get to control the classic lamb while the other gets to rock the goat look.

However, it's actually possible for fans to play as the goat outside of co-op mode. Whether gamers are not planning on playing co-op or simply want to unlock the goat look for other times, this guide will show them how to play as the goat in Cult of the Lamb.
How to Get the Goat Fleece and Play as the Goat
To get access to The Goat Fleece in Cult of the Lamb, players will have to select "Add Co-Op Player" in the Pause menu. Then, they must connect an additional controller to summon the goat. Next, they have to pause the game once again and remove the co-op player.
Then, they must visit the Temple and interact with the Altar. Here, they have to choose the Crown option to look at their fleeces, and once they've done this after starting and ending a local co-op session, they'll unlock the recipe for The Goat Fleece.
To craft The Goat Fleece in Cult of the Lamb, players must acquire 5 Sin. If they don't have the required number of Sins, they must generate it. The easiest and fastest way to do it is to serve multiple drinks to the same cultist at the Drinkhouse.
They will start to feel intoxicated and might start vomiting, but their Sin meter will go up with each drink they have. Once it's full, the lamb can absolve them of their sins and harvest the Sin to unlock the desired fleece.
How to Change Fleece As the Goat
The Goat Fleece is purely cosmetic, it doesn't present any changes to the player's stats and abilities in Cult of the Lamb. Thankfully, the Unholy Alliance DLC also introduced players to the "transmog system," which allows players to change the appearance of their fleeces while maintaining their abilities. This means that players can choose their favorite fleece and still look like the goat. However, they can't change the appearance of the goat's fleece.
