Earlier today, CD Projekt Red finally revealed what Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 has in store for players, and it's a fun batch of upgrades. Between an offering of brand-new vehicles, a far more detailed photo mode, and an official release date, Cyberpunk 2077 players have a lot to look forward to, and it's set to arrive very soon.
Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 will launch tomorrow, July 17, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The majority of the 2.3 update is centered around vehicles, and while the roster is a strong offering, that isn't the only reason to be excited. Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 adds an extra layer to these new vehicles by including side quests that are required in order to unlock them, bringing a double dose of new content.

A motorcycle, two cars, and an armored truck make up the main course of the 2.3 update. The combination of 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty DLC was a turning point for the dystopian RPG, and the game has continued to evolve, becoming more customizable with each update. The arrival of 2.3 could also be the perfect excuse to start Cyberpunk 2077 over from the beginning, so players can experience this additional content with a blank slate. The 2.3 Update Adds Another Special Vehicle Upgrade
- AutoDrive will be added to all vehicles.
For those who just want to sit back and relax between point A and Point B, AutoDrive will finally be implemented when 2.3 launches. On the off chance that players AutoDrive into combat, the system will stop, allowing one to deal with the conflict. Cyberpunk 2077 has come such a long way since its original release, as Night City's rich world feels even more lifelike.
Self-driving Delamain cabs can now be called on demand, as well. Players will have to complete "Don't Lose Your Mind" before the option becomes available.
Cyberpunk 2077 is the Gift That Keeps on Giving
In addition to update 2.3, Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to a brand-new platform. CD Projekt Red's sci-fi title is one of the biggest games yet to get a Mac port, further expanding its audience. Just like 2.3, Cyberpunk 2077 comes to Mac on July 17, marking yet another milestone for the game.
Considering that CD Projekt Red is also busy working on The Witcher 4, it's impressive that updates this substantial are still coming to Cyberpunk 2077. As of now, there aren't any more Cyberpunk 2077 planned for the future, but CD Projekt Red continuing to surprise players means a 2.4 definitely isn't impossible. Only time will tell, but as of now, 2.3 brings a great bounty of new content to revel in.
