Cyberpunk 2077 has received much fanfare after update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty. The gameplay systems and police have been totally revamped for a more streamlined, immersive experience. There are tons of new perks and weapons to try and perfect V's build.
Players looking to be powerful hackers need a good cyberdeck, quickhacks, and spend their skill points in the Intelligence attribute. These are all essential to a decent Netrunner build. Sometimes quickhacks can end up in an inconvenient order while hacking. Players can actually rearrange their quickhacks to make sure the most used ones are at the top of the queue. Follow these steps to equip and change the order of quickhacks in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Equip Quickhacks
Players need to have a cyberdeck equipped in the Operating System cyberware slot. The amount of quickhack slots is dependent on the tier of the cyberdeck. The higher the tier, the more quickhacks can be slotted into the cyberdeck. Select the equipped cyberdeck in the cyberware screen and click in the right stick to access the quickhack menu.
This screen is where players can choose which quickhacks in their inventory they want to use. Press the X/A button to slot the desired quickhack into the cyberdeck. They will be applied to the list on the left under the Cyberdeck icon. Higher-tier quickhacks cannot be equipped into lower-tier cyberdecks. However, lower-tier quickhacks can be placed into higher-tier cyberdecks. This can be used to exploit the lower RAM requirements of weaker quickhacks to unleash devastating combos and keep the hacks flowing during combat situations.
Rearranging Quickhack Order
The order on this list matters when using the quickhacks during gameplay. When V is using quickhacks, they will actually appear on the HUD in the opposite order they were equipped. This means the last equipped quickhack will be first on the list when using them.
Trying to alter the order while they are equipped is cumbersome, so unequip everything and start from scratch to get the right order. Players should place quickhacks in the reverse order of their desired set-up.
Using this tip, players can make an optimum set-up that places their most used quickhacks towards the top of the list. Hacks that cut off enemy detection, like sonic shock or hacks with low RAM usage, are better placed last, so they end up on top. This way, netrunners can avoid clumsily scrolling down the entire list.
