Cyberpunk 2077: How to Get the Samurai Jacket

Cyberpunk 2077 has plenty of iconic clothing items that largely go unnoticed, such as the iconic Samurai jacket worn by V in every promotional material for the game. While the bomber jacket is not difficult to acquire, many players can easily miss it if they are not paying enough attention.

It goes without saying the Samurai jacket is one of the coolest pieces of clothing in Cyberpunk 2077, but it does not become available until players unlock the “Chippin’ In” gig. Read on to learn more about the gig and how to complete it for the Samurai jacket, along with several other rewards.

How to Complete “Chippin’ In” for the Samurai Jacket

The Chippin’ In gig will become available after completing the M’ap Taan Pelen gig, after which you will need to follow these steps to complete the gig and get the Samurai jacket:

Head to the Afterlife Bar to meet with Rogue.
Give Johnny control over V’s body.
After the sequence ends, V will regain control of her body. Now, talk to Rogue again.

After talking to Rogue, wait for 24 hours. You will get a call from Rogue asking you to meet her. From there, head to the marked location. Open the trunk of the car to get the Samurai jacket. Rogue will mention that this jacket is her gift to you.

Drive with Rogue to the Maelstrom docks to locate Grayson. Follow Rogue to the docks at nighttime and go through the computer to find what you need. Once you've done that, go through the front door or go through the side door if you have met the required prerequisites. Search the yellow area on the mini-map. Once you've dealt with the guards, head to the back of the ship to find and take out Jeremiah Grayson.

Johnny and Rouge will speak to Jeremiah to find out more about Smasher. Here, you can also get your hands on Johnny's iconic pistol. Jeremiah will beg for his life, willing to part ways with Johnny's Porche 911 in a container nearby. You will need to decide where you want to spare Jeremiah for the Porche 911 or not.

Once you've made a decision, drive to the oil fields to find Johnny's burial site, which leads to a sad conversation between V and Johnny. Once the conversation is over, the gig will be complete.
