Kerry Eurodyne might not be the frontman of Samurai, but that doesn't mean he hasn't freed himself from Johnny Silverhand's shadow and become one of the greatest artists in Cyberpunk 2077, not just in Night City, but throughout the world. Kerry's fame and good looks are reason enough for V to want to have a romantic encounter with him, so if players want Kerry to become their boyfriend in Cyberpunk 2077, then this is the guide for them.

Kerry Eurodyne has a rather complex path of quests that players will need to unlock in order to begin the blossoming romance between the two, so players will want to check in here to see what quests they need to complete and what dialogue options they must say in order to woo Kerry in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Romance Kerry Eurodyne in Cyberpunk 2077
Romance Requirements for Kerry Eurodyne
In order to romance Kerry in Cyberpunk 2077, players must be using the Male V Body Type, otherwise, Kerry will have no interest in romantic encounters with V. While Kerry is first encountered in a flashback as Johnny Silverhand in the Love Like Fire mission, what Johnny chooses to say to Kerry does not matter for the romance quest. What is essential to trigger Kerry's questline in Cyberpunk 2077 is to complete Johnny Silverhand's relationship questline that starts after Search and Destroy at the end of Act Two, where players must use the following dialogue with Johnny:
- Yes.
- I’d do the same for you.
- Got a better idea?
- [Stand] Understood.
- So I tell Rogue everything?
- Tell me what you’re planning.
- OK. I’ll give you control.
This will trigger the A Cool Metal Fire quest, which is needed for players to interact with Rogue Amendiares. After which, the Chippin' In quest will unlock, and once Johnny and V arrive at the Oil Fields in this mission, it's important that players select the following dialogue options to further their bond with Johnny and give him a second chance so that he can make amends for his behaviour in the past and meet old friends:
- [Sit] D’ya expect a headstone?
- [Inscribe Johnny’s initials] Let’s do something about that.
- “The Guy Who Saved My Life.”
- Nah, f####ed that up too.
- What do you want from me?
- OK. But as second chances go, this is your last.
- You were a real d### in the beginning.
- When you said you let down your friends…
- Smasher biz really got to her.
- Yeah, I’ll call Rogue.
After agreeing to call Rogue, players can ask Rogue out on a date. In order to meet Kerry in Cyberpunk 2077, players must complete the Blistering Love mission, where it will end with Johnny asking V to take him to North Oak to visit Kerry Eurodyne, thus beginning V's potential romance questline with Kerry.

Complete Holdin' On
Once players arrive at North Oak with Johnny Silverhand after the Blistering Love side mission, all players will need to do is enter Kerry's mansion. It doesn't matter if players kill the robot guards here or not, as they simply need to head inside and give Johnny control of V's body so that the two can reconnect. The dialogue in this quest does not matter, as the quest is simply to introduce V to Kerry and bring the path forward by agreeing to reform Samurai, Johnny, and Kerry's band for just one night, which is achieved with the following dialogue:
- You wanna bring Samurai back?
- OK. Let's do it.
Complete Second Conflict
Should You Pick Henry or Denny?
Second Conflict doesn't involve Kerry all that much, and simply requires players to find Nancy Hartley, who now goes by Bes Isis. Bes Isis is located at the Totentanz club, controlled by Maelstrom. Once with Bes, players are required to head to Denny's Mansion, where they can pick either Denny or Henry to stay in the Samurai band reunion. The decision here does not matter at all, and Kerry won't mind who V picks. We went with Denny simply because Henry seems very unstable, and we wouldn't want a bad influence to emerge for Kerry.
Complete A Like Supreme
The next quest for Kerry's line is A Like Supreme, where players will need to give Johnny control and play a Samurai gig at the Red Dirt club. Again, this quest has no impact on Kerry's relationship, but is important for the path forward. After the gig, and sat at the bar with Kerry, we said: Wanna do an encore gig?
Complete Rebel! Rebel!
Now that the Samurai encore is over with, Kerry will contact V in a few in-game days, asking for help. The mission will have V meet up with Kerry and sabotage the touring music group, Us Cracks, by destroying their vans. The mission doesn't have any active dialogue options that impact Kerry's romance, but players will have to complete the quest for the next mission. To make things better with Kerry, we decided on the following options after the police chase:
- [Get out] Coffee with a rock star? Why not.
- No. You got a rocker's soul. I can feel it.
Complete I Don't Wanna Hear It
The penultimate mission to start Kerry's romance occurs a few in-game days after Rebel! Rebel! For this mission, players simply need to follow Kerry into the dressing room of Us Cracks and watch as Kerry and the band form a new bond by selecting the following dialogue:
- Deep breaths. Let's talk.
- Hold it. What's this about a deal?
- Label screwed all of us.
Complete Off the Leash
Kerry's announcement collab with Us Cracks sees V turn up to a media event. V can head to the right to push through the crowd and interrupt the interview with Kerry, and give a comment to a journalist: It's... Simply legendary. That's all I got to say. Now, Kerry will take V to the rooftop for a heartfelt conversation. This is the important part in Kerry's relationship quest, where players can decide if they want to romance Kerry or not by selecting the following dialogue prompts:
- [Lean] Glad we got a moment to ourselves.
- You can tell me.
- But you did make it.
- Maybe it's time you stopped being afraid.
- [Kiss Kerry] Yes. / [Kiss Kerry] Shadows'll fade before you.
Complete Boat Drinks
After kissing Kerry in the previous mission, Off the Leash, he will contact V in a few in-game days, so wait around and complete missions in the meantime. This mission is the final mission for Kerry's romance quest, and once players are on Kerry's yacht, they can make a few decisions to further kindle their romance by selecting [Sit] Yeah when asked to join Kerry. Later, Kerry will ask for help in destroying the yacht, and V will want to reply [Stand] Let's play! Once inside the yacht, say to Kerry: Let's rip this whole f#####' boat apart, and start destroying parts of the yacht. After enough things have been destroyed, help Kerry with the metal rod by the door, and then quickly select [Kiss] to start an erotic scene between V and Kerry. Once V and Kerry swim to shore, select [Hug] Pencil me in, which will have Kerry officially be V's boyfriend in Cyberpunk 2077, and players will often receive texts from Kerry, and they can even sleep with him in his North Oak mansion.
