Cyberpunk 2077: How To Get Umbra X-MOD2

Through innovative thinking and sheer will, Cyberpunk 2077 players have managed to find a secret gun in the game, which was probably intended to remain out of their greedy, loot-grabbing hands. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty features many new and exciting Iconic weapons, with some of them featured as missable. However, the UMBRA X-MOD2 is not missable, but just requires a bit of thinking to get it.

Update 2.0 has brought about many new exciting changes and additions to Cyberpunk 2077.

The gun itself is fairly good, but the adventure to get it is even better. The Umbra X-MOD2 is clearly a cut-content weapon in Cyberpunk 2077, as it’s hidden behind walls and debris. Luckily, there’s a way to get this gun and provide V with even more weapons than initially intended.

How To Get Umbra X-MOD2

Players will need to have access to Dogtown for this to work, as they are going to use the Fast Travel Station, Terra Cognita. From here, follow the blue crates until players reach an abandoned parking lot. Players will want to face the parking lot where there is a metal fence positioned in the center of the screen. Hug the fence to the right side and stand next to the wall. From here, players need to go into their phone screen and call for their motorcycle. Any motorcycle will do, but this guide found more success with the Kusanagi CT-3X.

Now, players need to call the motorcycle and spam the button to do so until it spawns behind them, inside the building. If the motorcycle has not spawned here, simply restart through a quicksave, or use a different motorcycle. After this is done, players will need to head into their character menu to enter into the Intelligence Attribute tree, and purchase Carhacker. Players do not need to invest in Intelligence for this to work, and Perk Points are refundable.

With Carkhacker now in the possession of the players, they are going to want to climb the metal fence and walk to the ledge, where they will be able to see the interior of the parking garage, and the motorcycle inside. Use the optic scanner to scan the motorcycle, and with a Cyberdeck, use the Take Control quickhack. Change the camera to better view the vehicle, and position it so that it is pressed against the gap in the wall. If done right, players can select Get On to enter the motorcycle, and thus enter into the building.

Now that players are in the building, they are going to want to walk forward and right, where they will find a corpse and an electrical fault in some water. Simply jump over it and head to the bed, where players will find the Umbra X-MOD2.

To get out of this building, players simply need to head back to the motorcycle, get on, and drive it out of the gap in the building. After this is complete, they would have escaped the area that they shouldn’t have been able to access in the first place and brought home another Iconic weapon for V, without the use of console commands.
