The first season of DANDADAN is now on Blu-ray, with a gorgeous dual-disc Collector's Edition. The new release makes a hilarious visual statement from the series with its two golden discs, referencing the series' primary story arc involving Ken "Okarun" Takakura's missing parts. The case itself is decked out with a silhouette of Okarun in his Turbo Granny transformation set against a white background.

The DANDADAN Season 1 Collector's Edition is now available to pre-order, and is set to be released on June 10, four days after the Evil Eye theatrical event set for June 6.

What you get in the Standard DANDADAN season 1 Blu-ray includes a 2-disc set with all the episodes from the first season, bonus features, an interview with the staff behind the production as well as commemorative interviews, a director scene breakdown, an interview with series composer kensuke ushio, all teasers and trailers, and the opening and ending credits. The Collector's Edition is far more exciting and packed with everything that is in the standard edition, plus 6 5x7" character art cards, a die-cut sticker and a 32-page booklet. The Collector's Edition also has a unique and colourful visual on the jacket featuring Momo, Okarun and Turbo Granny.

DANDADAN season 1 ran for 12 episodes from October to December 2024 and was one of the most popular anime titles of 2024. The series was produced by staff at Science SARU, the studio behind Scott Pilgrim Takes Off and an upcoming Ghost in the Shell project. Main staff behind DANDADAN include Fūga Yamashiro as director, series composition by Hiroshi Seko and Naoyuki Onda as character designer. The main cast featured Natsuki Hanae as Okarun and Shion Wakayama as Momo. The second season of DANDADAN is already in production, with it set to broadcast in July.
