Dandadan has finally returned with its much-awaited Season 2, and fans are currently witnessing the brilliance of the Cursed House arc. This story arc not only introduced us to Jiji, Momo's childhood friend, but it also gave us the anticipated fight between Okarun and the Evil Eye.
The Cursed House is surely an incredible and action-packed story arc, but it's normal for the fandom to wonder what else Season 2 of Dandadan will have in store for them. Well, like Season 1, the second season is confirmed to have a total of twelve episodes and will most likely adapt the events from the next four story arcs of the manga series.

Season 1 of Dandadan concluded on the Cursed House story arc, but it left the majority of the chapters for the second season. The second season picks up from right where the first season left off, and we see Okarun and Momo examining the mystery of Jiji's home. This is an action-packed story arc that features not one but several fight sequences. However, the best part of this story arc is indeed the high-stakes battle between Okarun and Jiji.
Of course, some fans will miss Aira in this story arc, but Jiji's quirky personality does help make up for that. Also, the Evil Eye taking over Jiji's body makes things complicated for Okarun and Momo. Not only do they have to save the town from the Volcanic eruption, but they also have to save Jiji from the Evil Eye. As of now, Dandadan Season 2 is midway through the Cursed House arc, but it will only take two to three more episodes to wrap the story arc.

While the Cursed House introduces us to this powerful entity, the Evil Eye Arc will dive deeper into its lore. In this arc, we will not only learn more about the Evil Eye, but we will also witness the depth of Jiji's sensitivity. It was Jiji who let the Evil Eye take control of his body, and maybe he was aware of the risks, but the boy was moved by the origin story of the Evil Eye. So, he decided to take a leap of faith, and the next story arc will show that Jiji still isn't ready to let go.
After the Cursed House arc, Jiji is able to suppress the Evil Eye within himself, at least for a while; however, that thing can take back control at any time. So, what's the logical solution? Exorcising this entity once and for all, of course. However, Jiji, being the sensitive guy he always was, rejects the idea of exorcising the Evil Eye. So, in this story arc, we will see Momo and the others deciding to stay close to Jiji to prevent the worst from happening. At the same time, Okarun will continue to exercise in the Evil Eye arc. The Evil Eye almost killed Momo in the Cursed House arc, so Okarun wants to become strong enough to save the love of his life.

After dealing with the Evil Eye, Okarun and Momo will continue the search for the second golden sphere so that Okarun becomes his full self. But things take a rather unexpected turn when the object they are chasing turns out to be conscious and alive. It starts flying away from the duo as if it doesn't want to be captured, which surely makes things a bit complicated for Okarun and Momo. However, that's not the extent of the trouble our beloved characters will face in this story arc.
8 Things Dandadan Does Better Than Nearly Every Anime
Dandadan has many strengths that put it above many other anime on the market.
So far, we have seen Aliens and different types of Ghosts in Dandadan, but the second season, particularly the Kaiju Threat arc, will introduce us to a new form of threat. Yes, we are talking about an actual Kaiju. So, Okarun, Jiji, Momo, and Aira work together to defeat his towering monster. Another interesting thing about this story arc is that it brings a new character into the mix: Kinta Sakata.

The Space Globalists is the longest and one of the best story arcs in the Dandadan manga series so far. Season 2 will surely cover some chapters of Space Globalists, but we will have to wait until Season 3 to witness the conclusion of this arc. So far, we have seen Okarun and the others either facing the aliens or going against a powerful Yokai. Space Globalists, however, will throw in both Aliens and Yokai against our beloved duo.
We have seen several strong Yokai in Dandadan, but Space Globalists will finally introduce us to the strongest Yokai, Reiko Kashima. Reiko will hold a grudge against Momo (for reasons you will find out very soon). So, the Yokai will do everything in its power to kill the girl, but for some reason, the ghost will have a change of heart. At the same time, this story arc will also focus on Bamora, a girl from the Sumerian alien race, who, interestingly, will start to develop feelings for Okarun. Yes, our nerdy boy is even popular among alien girls.
