Following the conclusion of the second season, Dandadan announced a third season. That's correct. Dandadan Season 3 is official, which means Okarun, Momo, and the rest of the gang will return for another installment full of eccentric characters and drama.
At the time of writing, the official media accounts for Dandadan have only confirmed that the anime is returning for a third season. There has been no mention of a release window or the episode count, which is to be expected as the new season has not entered production.
Dandadan Season 3 is going to be animated by Science Saru, who also worked on the first two seasons. So there is absolutely zero reason for fans to be worried about next season's quality. Overall, it was an outstanding season with little to no shortcomings.
Many fans believe that Solo Leveling is the prime candidate to win Anime of the Year, especially since it has claimed the prize once. The second season aired in January 2025, and it generated a ton of hype. The main focus of the anime has always been the action, and season 2 wasn't different either. Sung Jinwoo was constantly fighting powerful opponents, who threatened the country and his loved ones. While the anime was full of action, it lacked in other fields like story and world-building. For this reason, the anime fell a bit flat.
