Players can initiate a conversation with Daisuke by using the Dateviators on several different objects in the kitchen, including the dishware in the cabinet above the microwave and the knife block to the right of the stove. Notably, if a player wants to use the dishware above the microwave to summon Daisuke, they will need to remove the Dateviators and interact with the cabinet to open it.

How to Romance Daisuke in Date Everything

Date Everything players who want to reach Daisuke's love ending will need to have six interactions with him. Here are dialogue options that are guaranteed to lead to the love ending, and players are sure to notice that they are serious, that they are complimentary, and that they steer the conversations towards poetry:

Interaction #1

  • ...
  • Excuse me?
  • Finally, someone who understands the value of dishware.
  • Oh... Really?
  • Inventory?
  • Sounds admirable.
  • Are you alright?
  • Yes, they're all still on the table.
  • You okay?
  • What does that mean?
  • Are you sure I can't help you?

Interaction #2

  • Hard at work, I see.
  • Let me help you... It's my fault you got hurt to begin with.
  • Isn't that what the dishwasher is for?
  • Sure thing.
  • ...flustered.
  • Sorry, yeah. I'll be careful.
  • You got it.

Interaction #3

  • Absolutely.
  • What will you do while I'm gone?
  • Tell me about Kopi's delivery. Maybe you could tell me about your relationship with Kopi?
  • Tell me about Mitchell's delivery. He must take great care of the plates if you keep delivering them to him.
  • Tell me about Beverly's delivery. It's kind of you to supply her anyway.
  • I'm good!
  • Would you bless the dishes before I go?

Kopi, Mitchell, and Beverly Deliveries

date everything daisuke romance guide

Players must now visit Kopi, Mitchell, and Beverly and make deliveries on Daisuke's behalf. The locations of these three Dateables are detailed below, though it is important to mention that players cannot make the deliveries during their first interactions with the characters. As such, if a player has not yet met Kopi, Mitchell, or Beverly, they will need to interact with them and then return to them on a different day to perform the delivery.

  • Kopi: Equip the Dateviators, and use them on the espresso machine to the right of the sink. Select "I, uh, have a delivery" when speaking with Kopi.
  • Mitchell: Target the bowl on the table in the middle of the kitchen with the Dateviators. Pick "I've got a delivery from Daisuke" in the conversation with Mitchell.
  • Beverly: Use the Dateviators on the drink cart in the corner of the kitchen, next to the trash can. Tell Beverly "I'm actually here for a delivery."

Interaction #4

After completing the deliveries, players can return to Daisuke and pick these dialogue options:

  • I hope I wasn't interrupting anything.
  • Yes.
  • Handling the dishes needlessly is a risk.
  • I'd love to.
  • I hear you write poetry.
  • Beverly...
  • You shouldn't hide your art.
  • I was actually wondering why you stopped.
  • I'd love to help you work on reconnecting with yourself.
  • See you later, Daisuke.

Interaction #5

  • What's going on?
  • I'm so happy to hear that.
  • Me?
  • Oh how wonderful.
  • Well that sounds nice.
  • Write a love poem for Daisuke.
  • I'm ready to share now, actually.
  • I call it "Ode to Dishware."
  • "I fell in love with dishware. They say ugly? I'm like bish, where? He's handsome and hot, a loser he's not, and I hope he'll let me kiss... There."
  • Oh Daisuke, that was so beautiful.
  • It was my pleasure.

Interaction #6

  • Daisuke?
  • Don't beat yourself up.
  • I feel the same way, Daisuke.
  • I'm gonna crack you in ten different places, baby.

How to Get Friendship and Hate Endings with Daisuke in Date Everything

date everything daisuke romance guide

While it is expected that most players will want to earn Daisuke's love ending, some will undoubtedly be interested in pursuing his friendship and hate endings. Here are some ways that those two endings can be earned, and players will receive five Poise SPECS points in Date Everything regardless of the conclusion they ultimately receive:

Friendship

If a player prefers to be friends with Dateable #40, they can work through the previously provided dialogue options until Daisuke says "I care deeply for you" during the sixth interaction. Here, players should pick "I just want to be friends" to earn the friendship ending.

Players can also travel down the friendship path by choosing to "write a haiku about friendship" during the fifth interaction.

Hate

Players can earn the hate ending by working through the dialogue options above, stopping at the point in the sixth interaction where Daisuke says "I care deeply for you." This time around, players should pick "Oh no, not this" to send Daisuke towards anger.

This is certainly not the only way to pursue the hate ending, and players could opt to "write a dirty limerick" during the fifth interaction if they want to try another avenue.
