Date Everything has all manner of weird and wonderful achievements/ trophies for players to unlock, and one of them requires players to pet the bunny. This is a reference to many games that now allow players to pet dogs, cats, and other animals in the game. However, while players may find themselves searching high and low around the house for an actual bunny rabbit to pet in the game, it's actually a dust bunny that they need to find somewhere in the house. This guide will explain how to pet the Dust Bunny in Date Everything.
How to Unlock the Attic Door in Date Everything
In order to get into the attic, Date Everything players will need to head down into the crawl space to find the key needed to unlock the attic door.
Where to Find the Dust Bunny in Date Everything
Hidden in Plain Sight
Players can find the Dust Bunny by interacting with their sofa in the living room of their house multiple times. This can be done at any time in the game, but needs to be done without the Dateviator glasses on. After interacting with the sofa a few times, players should eventually hear a giggle come from somewhere.
After doing this, players need to the right side of the sofa as they're looking at it. On the floor, between the couch and the fireplace, they'll be able to see what looks like a tiny gray bunny rabbit on the floor. Without the Dateviators equipped again, simply interact with it and players will unlock the 'You Can Pet the Smog' trophy and achievement.
This isn't the only trophy or achievement that requires players to do something unusual in Date Everything. There's also one called 'Game Over' which requires players to die.
Who Is the Dust Bunny in Date Everything?
It's Time to Meet Dolly!
If players scan the dust bunny with the Dateviators, they'll meet Dolly, a studied professor wearing a Playbunny outfit that purveyors of a certain gentleman's magazine may be familiar with. Dolly is the 21st Dateable character in the game and is voiced by Erica Lindbeck. The little dust bunny that she is holding is adorably called Lint Eastwood.
Players should be aware that Dolly is part of the 'Smarts' category of characters, and so players will need to engage with her intellectually to form a good relationship. For those wanting to romance her, avoid using most flirting options, especially those that are based on her physical appearance. Show interest in her passion for archaeology and help her with her studies, and players will be on their way to romancing her in no time.
When Dolly does ask for help with her studies, players will need to make sure that they have 20 points in Smarts. Several responses that Dolly will respond positively to need at least 20 points in this SPECS attribute to use.
