River is Dateable 18 in the Date-A-Dex

River is the personification of water, so players can find her in several locations. River will appear if players turn on any sink or bathtub in the house. Players can also find Rebel sitting in the upstairs bathroom. Ensure you scan the actual water, not the water source. The first time River appears, players should say the following to romance her:

  • No, actually. Here to see you.
  • I was actually hoping to get your name.
  • It's not asking too much, is it?
  • Just River? No last name?
  • Chair?
  • Ohh, THAT one.
  • It's never too late to reinvent yourself.
  • You're really putting me on the spot here.
Date Everything River

The next time players talk to River, she will be talking to Bathsheba, the bathtub Dateable. Bathsheba is pressuring River to gossip about anything she has heard around the house. Once they notice you, say the following:

  • What's going on here?
  • Uh... Oh.
  • Huh.
  • That doesn't sound great.
  • Pick any of the options.
  • Well go on.
Date Everything River

River will be talking to Dante the next time players scan her. The best way to make progress with River is to encourage her to be herself and respect her privacy:

  • It's none of my business.
  • I thought maybe we could hang out.
  • You're a crucial part of all those experiences.
  • I want you to stay and talk to me.
  • Tell me something about you that no one else knows.
  • Even Winnifred doesn't know?
Date Everything River

Again, River is speaking to someone else whenever players talk to her for the fourth time. If players haven't met her, Lady Memoria is in the Attic. Whatever their conversation was, River seems to be upset, so players should say the following:

  • You seem down.
  • Just choose the one you like best.
  • I like you just the way you are—no matter what state that is.
  • Do you mind if I sit?
  • We might just be getting to know each other, but...
  • Get to know the messy, real River.
  • Hell, you might hate me too.
Date Everything River

Players will be able to get an ending with River during the next conversation, and there is a noticeable difference in her demeanor. Say the following to date River:

  • Oh yeah?
  • Why's that?
  • I've been there myself.
  • Perfectly.
  • It is all in you!
  • I'd like that a lot.
