Fans of dating simulators can try falling in love with furniture and household objects in Team 17's Date Everything. While this may sound ridiculous at first, the game features a roster of famous voice actors from film, TV, and video games to voice the Dateables, making it exciting and downright hilarious at times.
Two such characters are Drysdale, voiced by Neil Newbon, and Washford, voiced by David Sobolov. Drysdale is a charming acrobat who also happens to be one-half of a stackable washer and dryer duo. While neither of the men is shy by any means, players will find dating them isn't so simple. There is a specific order of things that must take place to earn the Love ending with Drysdale and Washford, so here's everything players need to know to woo them in Date Everything.

How to Find Drysdale and Washford in Date Everything
Players will most likely discover the duo early on as they are some of the more conspicuous appliances in Date Everything. Drysdale and Washford live in the laundry room alongside a few other laundry-based Dateables such as Tydus. Talking to either of them will reveal a messy, complicated relationship. Washford is the weepy, poetic counterpart to Drysdale's warm charm.
Players must romance Washford if they hope to date Drysdale. However, talking to the pair in a specific order is key. It is a good idea to introduce yourself to them on the same day to start making progress.
Players who form relationships with Dateables will earn SPECS points and have access to special socialization options, so it's not a bad idea to wait to talk to them.
Choose the following social options for Washford:
- I am weary, thank you for noticing.
- Sounds like a bad mood.
- Wow. I'm really sorry to hear that.
- No, I mean it.
- For sure.
- This should be good...
- I am intrigued.
- I'm remembering all the times I've left my clothes in the washer too long.. I'm sorry?

The first time you speak to Drysdale, choose the following:

How to Date Washford in Date Everything
Before talking to Washford again, players should take the time to increase their Smarts stats to at least 25 by forming Love, Friendship, or Hate with Dateables who increase Smarts. This includes Timmy, Artt, Ceilia, and more. When ready, talk to him again and choose the following options:
- Hey, you know I'm here, right?
- Please don't stop talking.
- Yes...
- Anything real is quiet, true, and everlasting.
- Can you touch anything else?
- Go write ahead
- Wait, don't you mean like, Macdesk or something like that?

Instead of Dating Everything, Some Players Are Playing Matchmaker
Date Everything players have discovered that some objects can be paired together in-game - while they wish certain others could.
Then, talk to Drysdale for a second time and choose the following prompts:
- There's a tarantula on your butt!
- It would be pretty boring. What kinds of things do you do for fun?
- I'm pretty jealous you can keep that figure with those as your hobbies!
- Like sex?
- Yes, love it. All for it.
- Of course - why would that be a problem?
- I'd get you flowers - I promise.
- You're right, I'll ask!
- What is your favorite color?
- Sultry periwinkle
- Right moving on, what is your favorite breed of dog?
- Has Washford been with you the whole time you've been in here?
- That's a long time, Drysdale.
- And how long has it been since you've broken up?
- How long since you've talked to him?
- What's inconvenient? You're in love.
- What can I do?
- I can try. I can't make any promises, though.
Don't talk to Drysdale again until you romance Washford, or else Drysdale's Love ending will be locked.
Players can then romance Washford. Choose the following options:
- Washford...you are a galaxy entire in my eyes.
- Yes! I feel it!
After romancing Washford, talk to him again and suggest reuniting him with Drysdale. Validate his feelings and tell him that Drysdale is ready to apologize and encourage them to reconcile; he will then agree to talk to him.
How to Date Drysdale in Date Everything
From this point, players can focus all their attention on Drysdale, although romancing Dirk first gives them a chance to impress him. Talk to Drysdale and pick the following options to get the Love ending with him:
- I just came from talking with Washford.
- I'm not trying to upset you, but I thought you should know.
- Honestly, he talked a lot about you.
- Not at all. Neither does he.
- Actually, seemed like he misses you.
- After what?
- He didn't, actually. Not specifically
- Aw, what a cute nickname!
- Yes! I saw him do that!
- His lips are gorgeous. Given.
- Actually, we're lovers.
- The hot boy made you hotter?
- What did you do?
- You didn't ask Washford, did you?
- This is pretty hot. I get it.
- So the clothes...never got dry?
- I don't get the "Pale" part.
- So he felt like you betrayed him by flirting with Dirk. In the middle of a performance.
- But if you knew he was so sensitive, why did you flirt with Dirk?
- But you knew how sensitive Washford was to your actions.
- And you loved Washford.
- Nicer than Washford?
- That makes sense actually...
- It's time for you and Washford to have a conversation with each other.
- You don't have to be mysterious Drysdale. You just have to be honest.
