Sinclaire has one of the more interesting storylines in Date Everything, as he's insistent that he's actually a man, and not a sink. Determined to get to the bottom of his identity, he requests players' help by doing some sleuthing and recruiting the help of another household object. In this guide, I'll explain the steps players need to take to romance Sinclaire in Date Everything and get the best ending.
Before going any further, it's worth noting that there are two ways that players can romance Sinclaire. One of them is the 'best' ending, while another doesn't require a specific SPECS skill level making it easier to get in the process. This guide explains both processes.

Where to Find Sinclaire in Date Everything
Sinclaire can be spoken to by using your Dateviators on any sink within the house. These can be found in the kitchen, the utility/laundry room, and the bathrooms on both floors of the house.
How to Romance Sinclaire in Date Everything
Romancing Sinclaire is tied to Maggie's romance questline, as she will ask for your help solving a mystery she's never been able to crack. The mystery in question is whether or not Sinclaire is actually a sink or a man. As such, players need to either correctly find the evidence to point out that Sinclaire is actually hallucinating and is a sink, or just tell him that he's a man to appease his wild theories.
It's worth noting that only correctly solving the mystery by pointing out that Sinclaire has ingested a hallucinogen in the form of Jimson Weed will result in getting the best and 'true' ending for Maggie as well. If you choose to just tell Sinclaire he's a sink, Maggie will be disappointed that you haven't properly solved the mystery, but will be happy you didn't send Sinclaire into a mental spiral by telling him he's a sink without having sufficient evidence to back it up.
Below, I've explained the steps players need to take to romance Sinclaire both with and without the evidence.
How to Romance Sinclaire by Telling Him He's a Sink in Date Everything
After you've solved Maggie's first two cases (who sent the letter to Dorian and the Scandalabra incident), she'll then invite you to help her figure out Sinclaire's true form. You can talk to Sinclaire before this, but he'll also ask for your help finding someone who can help investigate the weird events he remembers before he became a sink.
To get the sufficient evidence to see this romance ending through to the end, players will need 25 Smarts before engaging in the interrogation conversation with Maggie and Sinclaire. If you don't and still come to the conclusion that Sinclaire is a sink, you'll get his 'Hate' ending.
Below, you'll find the dialogue options (where there's a choice to make) that you need to follow to get the 'true' ending with Sinclaire and Maggie. These start when you first begin the conversation with Maggie and Sinclaire:

- [Smarts 25] Yep. It's a powerful psychedelic! (This is the most important dialogue option to get this ending.)
- What's the deal with that bar? The so-called 'Banana Lounge?'
- I don't buy what he said about the Shirley Temples. I think they must have been alcoholic.
- I'd like to know what some other objects in the house think.
- Let's talk to Arma.
- Can you provide a medical diagnosis of Sinclaire/Martin's condition?
- Does Sinclaire remember past interactions?
- Let's Bring in Dorian!
- Was Sinclaire always this way?
- Does Sinclaire recognize you?
- Have you noticed anything odd about him?
- Can we have a moment with Sudsy? (Sudsy can't tell you anything, so you can just select the 'I think we're ready to move on.' Option instead. I've skipped the dialogue options with Sudsy below, but he is a very good boy.)

- Can you tell us a little more about this 'Vagabonda' character?
- What's the deal with her punch card?
- Do you still have it?
- Why did she curse you, again?
- How do I know she's a real person?
- The disposal warranty is very intriguing.

- Other objects in the house corroborate it.
- Something happened on your ‘night out.’
- No, Sinclaire, you ate a psychedelic weed!
- Your encounter with Vagabonda wasn’t real.
- It appears to have been a hallucination.
- Hit the disposal!

- Maggie, why don’t I wrap things up here?

Other dialogue options may be fine to use in some instances. However, I've provided the options that worked for me above as I can verify that these work. With the way that Date Everything can lock you out from retrying with some characters (unless you use a Candy on them), it's especially important you follow the steps above.
How to Romance Sinclaire By Telling Him He's a Man
There are two main differences to getting the romance ending by telling Sinclaire he's a man. These are:
- Don't use the Smarts option to point out that Jimson Weed is a hallucinogen. You're likely going for this ending because you haven't got the Smarts points needed to use this option anyway.

When making your verdict, select the following options:
- Martin, you are indeed, a man.
- It doesn't matter - just listen to that guy. He's in pain!
- No... You can be my lover.
- Nothing would make me happier.

How to Get Sinclaire's Hate and Friends Endings in Date Everything
Getting the two remaining relationship options with Sinclaire requires you to do the following.
Friends
Follow the second set of steps for romancing him without the Jimson weed evidence. However, rather than saying 'No... You can be my lover,' select the 'I'm afraid so, Martin.' Or 'There's still hope. There's always hope.' Options. This will have him accept his fate and thank you for your efforts, getting you the friendship option.
Hate
To make Sinclaire hate you, you need to accuse him of being a sink without having the Jimson weed evidence. It'll send him a bit crazy, and he'll never forgive you for not believing him.
