  • Two new DLCs for Sniper Elite: Resistance, one free and one paid, include new weapons, skins, and missions.
  • The free DLC adds the M1A1 Gov. Submachine Gun, M.1903 Rifle, and new character skins for Karl Fairburne.
  • The game also received a free update with two new multiplayer maps to enhance the gaming experience.

Sniper Elite: Resistance has recently gained two new DLCs, and one of them is entirely free. Sniper Elite: Resistance was released as a day one title for Xbox Game Pass back in January, and this new DLC is good news for gamers looking to come back to the popular shooter.

Made by Rebellion Developments, Sniper Elite: Resistance was released on Xbox Game Pass on January 30. In the tactical third-person shooter, gamers play as Harry Hawker during Vichy France, trying to take out members of the collaborationist government allied with the Nazis.

Sniper Elite: Resistance - Every Mission

There are 9 missions for the base Sniper Elite: Resistance experience. However, 2 of them are not as long as the others.

Now, Sniper Elite: Resistance has released two new DLCs: “Fairburne’s Armoury Weapons and Skins Pack,” which is free for all players, and the “Vercors Vendetta Mission and Weapons Pack,” which can be purchased for $12. The free DLC includes two new weapons, the M1A1 Gov. Submachine Gun, and the M.1903 Rifle, as well as two new skins. The new skins feature the classic Sniper Elite protagonist Karl Fairburne with two sets of clothes, the original one and one wearing a field jacket. The paid DLC comes with the M1941 Rifle, the Armaguerra OG-44 Submachine Gun, and the new Vercorts Vendetta Campaign Mission. In this Sniper Elite: Resistance mission, the player will go after one final cache of weapons, preventing these deadly weapons from being used against the French population.

To improve the overall experience of playing Sniper Elite: Resistance even more, the DLC was paired up with a free update, which added two free multiplayer maps: St. Raymonds, and the popular Sniper Elite 5 map Flooded Village No Cross. Sniper Elite: Resistance received good reviews at launch, with critics praising its mission and weapon variety, so it’s good to see the developers supporting these aspects of the popular tactical third-person shooter even more.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers who liked Sniper Elite: Resistance should know that Rebellion Developments has another day one game to come out for the subscription service soon. Atomfall will be out on March 27, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play it on day one. In Atomfall, gamers will explore an alternative version of the United Kingdom in a post-apocalyptic setting based in the 1960s. Unlike the Sniper Elite series, Atomfall will be a first-person game and will have a larger emphasis on investigating and exploring the environments to move forward with the story.
