PlayStation Studios' Days Gone Remastered takes players to the zombie, or Freak, invested forests of Oregon. Players must survive while collaborating with local camps to clear out nests and defend their compounds against Rippers and other hostile characters. The story mission, "Price on Your Head," has Deacon torn as he decides whether to deliver a valuable drug stash to Tucker's or Copeland's camp.
Whichever camp they choose doesn't have dire consequences in Days Gone Remastered, but players receive specific rewards depending on where they take the drug stash. Deacon isn't loyal to either side, but it doesn't hurt to have friends in high places. Players can use this guide to determine which camp best suits their needs and aligns with their goals.
Days Gone: How to Unlock and Use Fast Travel
Players can make their way across the map in no time if they use fast travel - here's how this mechanic works in Days Gone.
Updated April 26, 2025, by Taylor Pittman: The action-adventure game Days Gone Remastered brings players back to Oregon as they fight for survival and freedom in a world overrun by zombies and criminals. The main storyline is filled with tough decisions, where Deacon gains allies (or enemies) as he attempts to escape north in search of a better life. One early decision surrounding a sought-after drug stash, although it doesn't hold too much weight in the long term, sets players off with equipment upgrades. So, this guide has been updated to include more information to help players decide whether to take Leon's drug stash to Copeland or Tucker's camp in Days Gone Remastered.
Should Days Gone Players Take the Drug Stash to Tucker or Copeland?
During one of the early mission games, players discover clues that lead them to a hidden stash of drugs. This drug stash has caught the attention of two large camp groups in the area, as medicinal supplies are scarce in this abandoned society. Once Deacon has the cargo, it is up to the player to decide where he takes it.
Bringing them the drug stash results in gaining trust points with the camp. As they increase their relationship with the camps, they can upgrade them and unlock upgrades for their equipment:
- Copeland's Camp - Bike Upgrades
- Tucker's Camp - Gun Upgrades
Players will have other opportunities to upgrade each camp, but this provides a significant early-game boost.
Deliver the Drug Stash to Copeland
The best camp to take the drug stash to in Days Gone Remastered depends on play style. For those who want to focus on their mode of transportation, Copeland's camp is ideal. The bike makes traveling around the map easier, giving players a quick escape if they're getting attacked by a horde. They can add Nitrous Boost, more effective fuel tanks, storage compartments, better tires, and change their bike's appearance.
Deliver the Drug Stash to Tucker
Players who want to focus on their weaponry should deliver the drug stash to Tucker. Guns make taking on the Freaks a lot easier, as they tend to travel in groups. Freaks take over and make nests at certain properties and areas around the map, so powerful weapons are necessary to take them on. The undead aren't the only ones that players have to watch out for, as certain humans, called Rippers, travel around and kill or steal from people unfortunate enough to run into them.
