While the most dangerous enemies in Days Gone Remastered are undeniably Freakers, there are plenty of human enemies also looking to cause you harm. Marauders and Rippers have made small camps to ambush anyone unlucky enough to come close, which is something that Deacon St. John does not approve of.
Days Gone Remastered: Every Historical Marker Location
The Oregon wilderness of Days Gone has a lot of history. This guide will show you where to find every historical marker so you can learn all about it.
Finding all 14 of these Ambush Camps is worth your time as they can provide you with places to fast travel to across the expansive map of Days Gone Remastered. So, let's find these camps and clear them out.
How To Clear Out Ambush Camps In Days Gone Remastered
Ambush Camps are points on the map that, once captured, can be used as fast travel spots. In addition to that, these camps typically have plenty of supplies, ammo, and fuel cans. Each camp will have an underground bunker that has a place for you to rest, a gun locker, and a map that will unlock more of the overall in-game map.
When you find an Ambush Camp, Deacon will mutter something about how he needs to kill everyone there. You can choose to be stealthy or go in guns blazing to eliminate every enemy. Once the camp is cleared, you'll need to find the bunker, use the map inside, and that will claim the bunker for you to use as a fast travel point.
Before going into an Ambush Camp, it's a good idea to use your binoculars to mark each enemy within the camp so you can track their movements.
