Description
In this award-winning cinematic action-thriller, troubled author Alan Wake embarks on a desperate search for his missing wife, Alice. Following her mysterious disappearance from the Pacific Northwest town of Bright Falls, he discovers pages of a horror story he has supposedly written, but he has no memory of.
Wake is soon forced to question his sanity, as page by page, the story comes true before his eyes: a hostile presence of supernatural darkness is taking over everyone it finds, turning them against him. He has no choice but to confront the forces of darkness armed only with his flashlight, a handgun and what remains of his shredded mind. His nightmarish journey to find answers to the mind-bending mystery he faces will lead him into the terrifying depths of the night.

I never liked the combat system in Alan Wake, but the story was strong enough to keep me engaged.
It's one of those twisted stories that you have to hear the community's comments to reach a conclusion and that's what I love about it!

A gripping psychological thriller with a fantastic atmosphere. The story keeps you on edge, and the gameplay is immersive, though I wish there were more variety in combat. The narrative twist is also a standout moment for me.

Alan Wake is one of those games that sticks with you. The eerie atmosphere, the psychological horror, and the story that unfolds like a Stephen King novel make it unforgettable. The combat with the flashlight mechanic was cool at first, but it felt repetitive after a while. Still, I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a horror experience that’s more psychological than jump-scare-based.
