Absolutely terrifying but hard not to love! A perfect tribute to the series which truly makes you feel that you are in there with IT.

A terrifying experience that truly captures the horror of the Alien franchise. The stealth mechanics and atmospheric tension kept me on edge, even if some sections felt too drawn out.

You don't need to be an Alien fans to love this game !! An absolute horror masterpiece , hopefully the sequel would continue as good or better !

Aliens: Isolation is the pinochle of how to do a stalker enemy right in videogames, and it manages to keep you at baseline uneasy and creeped out. With the use of the incredible atmosphere of a damaged space station, being constantly hunted by people, Androids, and the worst of all, the Xenomorph leaves your in a constant state of dread of what's around the corner or behind those doors. You are constantly hiding, quietly moving, or silently taking out the enemies you can making it feel like you never get a moment to breath.

This game nails the tension of being hunted by a Xenomorph. The atmosphere is terrifying, and the AI for the alien is downright cruel—in the best way. I loved the retro-futuristic vibe, but I’ll admit, the pacing dragged in the later chapters. Still, if you want to feel pure dread, this game delivers in spades.

Over ten years later, people are still terrified by the Xenomorph in Alien: Isolation and that is a testimony to its top-tier design. On top of being a faithful new story set in the world of Ridley Scott's Alien, fans were not ready for the revolutionary AI that powers the Xenomorph stalking the hallways of Sevastopol Station. It constantly learns the more the player progresses, allowing it to become a smart and deadly hunter. From beginning to end, Alien: Isolation never loses its terror and tension, thanks to its long campaign that is divided into sections featuring other enemies such as the Working Joe androids and other humans. This way, the Xenomorph never becomes dull, even in the hours that it is in play. It also has Resident Evil-esque elements such as an interconnected map with areas that can't be explored until certain puzzles are completed and items are equipped. If someone is a fan of Alien or just a fan of horror in general, they need to play Alien: Isolation.

This was the first serious horror game I ever played, and man, what a great way to start my journey with the genre. The best part about the game is how intelligent the Xenomorph's AI is - it's always a step ahead of you.

The only thing I didn't quite enjoy about the game was how slow it was at the beginning. But once it picked up the pace, it was so fun to play.
