The American Revolution setting was well-done, and Connor’s story had its moments. The game’s pacing felt uneven, but the frontier exploration and naval battles made up for it.

A solid AC game but by no means the best. The setting of the War of Independence is certainly interesting and unique, but the story and gameworld lack some of the depth of other titles.

My most favorite game in the entire series.
Its dual-protagonist system was deep and amazing. Also, it introduces ship battles to the series, which become a lasting theme in the next entries of the franchise too.
So many gameplay innovations were packed inside this game!
