The Viking setting is rich and immersive, with great exploration and settlement building. However, the sheer size of the map sometimes made progression feel like a grind.

Valhalla was such a big game in scale. Long story, a massive world, and a heavy grind for leveling up.
I loved the setting because it was quite different. Also, the new base-building mechanics were fun too, but I think the story could've been a little shorter overall.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a massive game, and it feels like it. The Viking setting is awesome, and the world is beautiful to explore. The combat is fun, but it gets repetitive after a while. The story is solid, but it feels like it’s been stretched too thin, especially with all the side content. I love the raids and settlement-building aspects, but the pacing can be a slog. It’s a great game, but it could’ve been tighter in execution.
