Description
Welcome to the Living Lands, a mysterious island filled with adventure and danger. Set in the fictional world of Eora that was first introduced to players in the Pillars of Eternity franchise, Avowed is a first-person fantasy action RPG from the award-winning team at Obsidian Entertainment.
You are the envoy of Aedyr, a distant land, sent to investigate rumors of a spreading plague throughout the Living Lands - an island full of mysteries and secrets, danger and adventure, and choices and consequences, and untamed wilderness. You discover a personal connection to the Living Lands and an ancient secret that threatens to destroy everything. Avowed's first-person combat and respect for player choice make it a journey worth having, but flaws in its story and design make it a one-way road.

Really you know what you are getting with these guys . In a world of over blown games and meaningless side quest this was the perfect game at the right time. The side quests have depth and good rewards .I'm not the biggest fan of the weapon progression but it's ok . It's not Elden Ring but it's not trying to be . It's also way better than Starfield . I wish they would make another Fallout New Vegas or do a remaster..... something . Looking forward to OW2

A straight up killer hame, Obsidian Entertainment has hit this with a grand slam. Can't wait till outer worlds 2 now.

Best game I've played in years. Very fast paced, great movement mechanics, great mele mechanics this game is so much fun. If you like games like dishonored, or borderlands, outer worlds or prey you will love this game. It's so good.

Best single player game I played after years. I love the parkour, explorations, and treasure hunting. The dopamine it gives you is a lot. The upgrading and enchanting could use some tweaking. They could add build stuff save your build so you can switch easily. I hope they add more contents, skills and class. I do hope they add co-op with one more player as I want to play this game with my girlfriend. She doesn't play that much but this game made her wanna play it.

It's awesome - a beautiful world, fleshed out lore, interesting characters / quests / story, fun crafting, combat & skill tree. Nit much to complain about, lots to enjoy.

The fantasy version of the outer worlds. Fun combat, good enough exploration, loads of unique weapons and armour to find. A 30 to 50 hour adventure with plenty of lore and dialogue to stretch that time out even more. A must try for those who enjoyed outer worlds (and greedfall, which it reminded me of), and of course its predecessor, pillars of eternity. The writing is better than most of the newer rpgs out there. Not sure why this game has been getting smeared all over social media, shameful really.

It's legit a good game, absolutely solid. The combat and exploration in particular are the superstars of Avowed. But companion-wise and story-wise, I feel like it didn't reach the same heights as in The Outer Worlds. I'm glad I played it for sure, but it's not one I'm going to replay.
