Axiom Verge scratched that retro Metroid itch I didn’t even know I had. The world is rich with secrets, and exploring it feels so rewarding. The game has that perfect balance of challenge and discovery, plus the tools and weapons you find along the way keep things fresh. It’s a throwback to the classics, but with a modern touch. A must-play for fans of old-school exploration.
