Definitely the best of the Black Ops series, before things became increasingly ridiculous. Zombies was also incredible on BO1

An amazing classic from the COD series.
Black Ops belongs to one of the most mysterious eras in history, and it does manage to deliver a high-octane campaign with a twisted story.
I enjoyed this game a lot, though the sequels to Black Ops never managed to beat it to the storytelling.

Black Ops had a campaign that was as crazy as it was fun, packed with twists and memorable moments. The multiplayer, with its new perk system and customizable loadouts, really pushed things forward. I also spent way too much time on Zombies mode—good times. It’s a solid entry, but I still think the Modern Warfare series takes the crown for the best CoD games.

Black Ops is undoubtedly one of the finest games in the Call of Duty universe with an immersive storyline and brilliant missions. It is one of those games that was packed with shocking moments that elevates the entire gaming experience.
