Description
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare delivers three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies.
In Campaign, players play as Captain Reyes, a pilot turned Commander, who must lead the remaining coalition forces against a relentless, fanatical enemy, while trying to overcome the deadly, extreme environments of space.
Multiplayer combines a fluid momentum based movement system, player focused map design, deep customization, and a brand new combat rig system to create an intense gameplay experience where every second counts. Combat Rigs (Rigs) are the ultimate combat systems. Each Rig is a cutting-edge, tactical combat suit worn by the player and is built for totally different styles of play. Players will also join one of four brand-new Mission Teams to unlock calling cards, camos, emblems, and weapons unique to that team.
In Zombies, go back in time to fight the undead in a 1980s amusement park, complete with a plethora of rides, an awesome arcade, and a funky, functioning rollercoaster. Embrace previously beloved aspects of the mode like easter eggs, power ups, and novel weapons while experiencing innovations like brand-new team mechanics, the After Life Arcade, and Fate and Fortune Cards.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare delivers a strong campaign mode, and even though multiplayer and Zombies aren't as compelling, it's still one of 2016's best FPS games.

Although many people didn't like the futuristic focus of Infinite Warfare, it does work well in places. Perhaps it would have been better off under a new IP as it doesn't exactly fit in well with most of the series...

Call of Duty's downfall began when it entered futuristic warfare, and Infinite Warfare was probably the most remote future.
That being said, I still enjoyed the game's zero-g battles. Although the story was not really epic, but those space battles felt quite different and refreshing.

Surprisingly good despite the initial backlash, with a campaign that delivered emotional moments and epic space battles. The multiplayer was solid, even if it didn’t revolutionize the series.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare definitely divided opinions, but for me, it was a bold step forward. The campaign, set in space, was unexpectedly fun, with a story that, while not groundbreaking, delivered solid action and a new kind of intensity. The futuristic weapons, space battles, and new movement mechanics kept things fresh, and I appreciated the effort to take CoD in a new direction. Sure, it wasn’t as grounded as the previous Modern Warfare games, but it offered a unique setting that felt different from the usual CoD formula. Multiplayer was also fun, though I wasn’t as sold on the advanced movement system as I was on more traditional CoD play. Still, if you’re into futuristic warfare, it’s a solid experience that offers plenty of thrills.
