Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

While CS 1.6 will always be my favorite game in the franchise, CS:GO is hands down the one I’ve made the best memories with.

I didn’t start playing CS:GO until 2018, so yeah, I was pretty late to the game. But once I got into it, I was hooked. I can still remember sitting down and playing 6-7 competitive matches back-to-back in a single day like it was nothing.

I’ve played a lot of FPS games over the years, but honestly, no game matches the shooting and movement mechanics of CS:GO. It’s the game that taught me how to play FPS titles properly and sharpened my skills, which has helped me in other games like Valorant. I owe a lot of my gaming growth to CS:GO, and for that, I’ll always respect it.

CS2 is decent and all, but it just doesn’t have the same vibe as CS:GO. For me, this will always be one of the best FPS games ever made.

After 1.6, Global Offensive was the best thing to ever happen to the CS series and it really aged well.

The console release for this game was also a massive move by Valve, though it didn't receive support later.

I enjoyed my time with Global Offensive and I believe it will remain one of the best competitive games in history.
