To me, Dark Souls is a life-changing game. It's not just exceptional in its environmental and combat design, it's not just subversive in its storytelling; this is a game that taught me how to live a better life. Very, very few games can achieve something like that.

Dark Souls is definitely not just a game. It's an exercise in patience, learning, and self-reflection. It's the only action RPG game that's ever made me question my own reality in terms of how I approach problems. Aside from this, the world is revealed through environmental storytelling, quips from "friendly" NPCs, and item descriptions, which is a unique and engaging version of lore building.

One of my greatest gaming accomplishments is getting all the achievements in Dark Souls. It was brutal but a ton of fun at the same time.
