Dragon Age: Inquisition

The world is vast, the combat is fun (especially when you get to control the tactical view), and the plot… well, the plot’s a bit wobbly, but I couldn’t get enough of the world-building. The Inquisitor has this incredible weight on their shoulders, and managing the factions felt satisfying.

For a long time, Dragon Age Inquisition was one of my favorite games in the Dragon Age franchise. However, I have come to realize that although the game was incredible, the exploration was by far one of the worst. That might be the only issue that DA: I have, since the companions (especially Dorian) are some of the most interesting, the romances were some of the best in the series, and the story (when not stuck leveling) was also remarkable.

An epic RPG with a vast world and unforgettable characters. The mix of personal choices and large-scale conflicts made the journey feel truly impactful.

A very enjoyable and immersive Dragon Age game. It might not quite reach the level of Origins, but it does offer a lot to the series, including several stunning locations and new leadership mechanics - you even get your own personal castle with a throne room and everything!

Despite being over a decade old, Dragon Age: Inquisition remains a series highlight. Its lore, characters, voice acting, and music effortlessly pull players into its world, and the attention to detail found throughout its many unique areas still impresses me in 2024. While the first two titles and the recently released The Veilguard are excellent games, something about Inquisition has kept me coming back the most. Despite a few graphical bugs here and there, it's worth picking up and spending dozens of hours exploring.
