The original Final Fantasy might seem a little basic by today’s standards, but there’s something timeless about it. The simplicity of the combat and story lets you focus on the adventure, and it really set the stage for one of the most legendary franchises in gaming. Sure, it’s rough around the edges, but it’s the start of a journey that would grow into something truly epic. If you’re a fan of RPGs, it’s a piece of gaming history.
