This is a perfect video game. I got the platinum trophy, spent over one hundred hours, and even got obsessed with the FREE Legends multiplayer update. I did not think I was gonna fall in love with it, but it blew me away. Ghost of Yotei is my most anticipated game of 2025 right now, and I cannot wait to see what Sucker Punch does to improve upon the already-superb formula.

Ghost of Tsushima kept me completely captivated from its very first scene. It's a beautiful, cinematic experience, though certainly not one that sacrifices substance for style.

As wonderful as it looks, it's more important that Jin's adventure is a gripping one, an enthralling action RPG that sees you will him to succeed and defeat the invaders. The characterization is multi-faceted, and the story beats were interesting enough to make me desperate to know what the next chapter would reveal.

A raw and emotional story is one vital element of Ghost of Tsushima, its wonderful open world another. What tied everything together for me, though, was the combat. Stealth isn't the game's strong point, but enough tools were provided to make it a viable approach to a given scenario. For those aggressive blade-flashing players like myself, though, the ability to switch between Moon, Water, Stone, and Wind stances and perform deft maneuvers and parries felt fantastic every time.

Ghost of Tsushima blew me away. It’s got that perfect balance between storytelling and gameplay. The world is gorgeous, the combat is smooth and satisfying, and the narrative pulled me in from the start. There are a couple of side activities that can feel repetitive, but the main story made up for it in spades. The samurai fantasy was done right, and I felt like a total badass playing it.

I don't know what to tell you, man, it's just a beautiful game. It had sat in my backlog collecting dust for far too long, and the only thing I'm disappointed about was waiting so long to experience it! Terrific story, gorgeous world, and combat was so fluid. Absolutely loved it and absolutely cannot wait for Yotei!

Main Pros....

OK, I can't even commit to doing a formatted review, which is this, like, super unique and original thing I'm trying to do...anyways, in this case, all I can say is...yes. Whenever anyone asks me anything about Ghost of Tsushima, the answer is always a resounding YES. Sometimes I get tricked into saying bad things, but that is only because I am extremely quick to say YES, play it. YES, it is incredibly amazing and spectacular. YES, buy it when its on sale. YES, buy it when it's not on sale. YES, play the original, YES play the Director's Cut. Spread the news far and wide, Ghost of Tsushima should be played by everyone.

Rarely do you come across a game with such a well-executed vision. The combat is - well just imagine a chef's kiss meme inserted here. There will always be some detractors who claim what they claim, namely that there's nothing new here. I will admit, it is not a perfect game. But it is close to perfect for me. I am ok with adding a unique spin on a common mechanic, especially when everything works so incredibly well. I only hope that, as the exclusivity barrier continues to erode, more and more people will get to play Ghost of Tsushima. I don't think there's been a better action game released in the last five years, and I cannot wait for Ghost of Yotei.

It has the one of the most stunning graphics I've ever seen.Its story is beautiful and it's combat is unbelievable.I hope ghost of Yotei maintains the same quality
