'Helldivers' is an isometric co-op shooter that favors challenge and strategy over all else, and despite a lack of variety is extremely satisfying when played with friends.

The difficulty is real, and friendly fire is a constant threat. It’s chaotic, but that’s what makes it so much fun. The missions can get repetitive, but the tension of trying to survive in hostile environments with your friends is what keeps me coming back. It’s not a game for everyone—if you’re looking for a relaxing experience, this isn’t it—but if you love a challenge, it’s totally worth it.
