Zen Studios, the creators of the beloved Zen Pinball and CastleStorm franchises, have revealed that its latest version of its kung-fu/rhythm hybrid, KickBeat, will hit PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Wii U the week of September 16 and Xbox One at a later date. KickBeat combines kung-fu action, intuitive rhythm-based gameplay, and a pounding soundtrack for a rocking experience. Beat-matching mechanics with a Zen Studios original take on an acrobatic style of martial arts, turning every song into a raucous battle.
  KickBeat is an experimental rhythm game featuring fully 3D characters and combat and high-energy music. This hard hitting soundtrack featuring licensed tracks from a diverse lineup of artists from well known bands such as Marilyn Manson, Celldweller, Pendulum, and more. There's even unique hidden talents like electronic music producer Voicians and Taiwanese rapper Shen Yi.

The beautiful art style with animated cut scenes and an immersive story pairs with a music analyzer that allows players to create new tracks from their own music libraries.
