I think the 2K Czech team did a pretty good job with Mafia 2. Although it wasn't as big of a masterpiece as the original game, Vito's story was still deep and exciting enough.
I loved how the story spanned over two different eras and gave players two unique feels with a single city. The gameplay realism and missions improved upon the original game with Mafia 2, and the twists were adorable.
The bad part, however, I think was the lack of side-quests and campaign-free activities, which could help players engage more with the city and increase the playtime even after completing the story missions.
