The year 20XX. A mysterious illness threatens to destroy the world's robot population. Little can be done as the machines begin to malfunction and hamper human life.
Dr. Light desperately tries to find a cure for his ailing daughter, Roll. Her brother, Mega Man fends off the infected masses with little success. The diseased have gone mad and are taking over the world.
However, there is hope. Recently exiled, Dr. Wily claims to have found the cure for the robots and he is willing to share the information with the world. Has Dr. Wily finally changed for the better?
