Mega Man 9 is a return to form, and it feels like a love letter to the NES era. It’s tough, it’s retro, and it’s everything I loved about the original games. The difficulty is brutal, but the levels are designed so well that you can’t help but keep trying. It’s not for the faint of heart, but if you want that classic experience, this is it.
