The freerunning mechanics were fun, but the open world felt repetitive, and the story didn’t stand out. It had its moments but didn’t capture the magic of the first game.

Despite being an open world, which you'd think would help a game like Mirror's Edge, an unfortunate drop in the quality of storytelling make this a slightly underwhelming sequel.
