It surely was not the reboot that Most-Wanted deserved. Removing all the story elements from the game was a critical mistake from the developers.
It was just a leaderboard that you should have climbed up with no characters and no real reason to feel the competitiveness.
A missed opportunity!

A high-octane reboot with thrilling cop chases and an open-world packed with challenges. The multiplayer was chaotic fun, though I missed the more story-driven focus of the original Most Wanted. Still, it’s an adrenaline rush from start to finish.

Most Wanted brought the heat with its intense police chases and underground street racing scene. I was hooked on trying to beat the Blacklist crew and outrun the cops. The car customization felt a little limited, but the thrill of the chase made up for it.
