I wanted to love this game, but it just didn’t hit the same highs as Persona 5. The combat felt repetitive after a while, and the story lacked the depth I expected. It had its moments, but overall, it felt like a step-down.

Persona 5 Strikers is the action-packed follow-up that lets you kick butt as the Phantom Thieves in real-time combat. It’s more “Dynasty Warriors” than turn-based strategy, but the characters and story keep it feeling like a true Persona game. The combat’s fun, but it can get repetitive if you’re not into hack-and-slash gameplay.
