Description

Ruby and Sapphire were a solid step up from the Game Boy days, with better graphics, a new region, and more Pokémon. The gameplay feels fresh, but the pacing can be slow—particularly with the endless water routes. The battle frontier was a great addition, though. A lot of fun, but the focus on water-type battles can get frustrating.
