Description
A series of gory attacks in the area surrounding a remote biotech lab brings in S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Squad) to investigate. On arrival, Bravo Team communications are abruptly cut off. Now it's up to your team.
You arrive at the isolated mansion under-powered and on the run. Arm yourself with anything you can find: knives, pistols, shotguns, flame-throwers - search for hidden rounds to stay alive!
There are puzzles to solve, traps to disarm and mysteries to uncover while trying to avoid a blood-bath with the freaks of nature that populate the mansion. Each lurking horror you survive will bring you closer to the source of the Resident Evil.

The original Resident Evil will always be a classic in my eyes, even with its awkward tank controls and fixed camera angles. It laid the groundwork for everything that came after, and playing it today still gives me chills. The sense of isolation, combined with the terrifying monsters and cryptic puzzles, made every moment feel tense and unpredictable. I loved the mystery behind the Spencer Mansion and the sinister experiments unfolding within it. It’s a slower-paced game, but that’s part of what makes it so unnerving—you never quite know what’s lurking in the next hallway. It’s rough around the edges by today’s standards, but its atmosphere, story, and survival horror roots have left a lasting impression on me.

The OG Resident Evil is one of my favorite games of all time. The PS1 version is amazing, but Deadly Silence is cool too. Love the GameCube remake as well.
