Description

Rock Band Blitz takes the classic Rock Band formula and scales it down into a single player controller-based experience with no instruments required.

The game takes most of its mechanics and inspiration from its predecessor, Amplitude, one of Harmonix's early rhythm games. Like Amplitude, Rock Band Blitz has you play the different instruments (Drums, Bass, Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards) on a single lane. Each lane has two notes the player must hit to earn points. Boosting your score can be done multiple ways: from utilizing power-ups that can be chosen before a song, keeping the note streak alive and activating "Blitz Mode", or raising a lane's multiplier before reaching one of the checkpoints that reset it.

The game features 25 songs ranging from a variety of different genres. Additionally, more songs can be downloaded via DLC in the Rock Band Music Store in the menu.
