Overall, a fun game to play that acts more like a true Sonic 4 game than the actual Sonic 4: Episode I and II games that came out before Mania. The levels and graphical design are fun and vibrant, and I enjoyed the 90s Sega Genesis vibe that the game was trying to hit. I feel the designers did a great job making the game feel like a sequel to the original trilogy and not just a random game that was pumped out for Sonic. A great game to play for any Sonic fan, old and new!

A love letter to classic Sonic, with some great levels and mechanics. While it’s fun, I found it a bit too nostalgic at times, and the pacing can feel inconsistent. Still, it’s a solid throwback for fans of the old-school games.

I had a blast zipping through stages, collecting rings, and avoiding traps, but I do wish the bosses were a bit more challenging.
