Star Wars Battlefront 2 has some bright spots, but the game fails to deliver a compelling story campaign and its multiplayer is burdened by the loot box controversy.

A visually stunning and action-packed shooter with incredible Star Wars battles. Though the progression system had some rough patches at launch, it still delivers fun, chaotic battles with friends.

I love everything Star Wars so this gets a solid 9 from me. It had a rocky start, but I stuck with it, and it paid off. The graphics and sound design are pure Star Wars magic. The progression system’s initial pay-to-win vibe was awful, but they turned it around. Now, it’s a solid multiplayer experience, I think.

Great multiplayer but virtually nothing in terms of SP. Map designs are not as good as in the original games but its made up for by some of the cool characters, weapons and vehicles.

Who doesn't want to play as Boba Fett or Darth Vader? Star Wars Battlefront 2 is every Star Wars fan's dream, as they not only get to fight against other fans, but also take these battles to the maps of locations they have likely remembered fondly from the films.
